Fukuoka, Japan - January 5, 2006 -- DigiOn, Inc. announced that DigiOn will exhibit their multimedia home network solution DiXiM-related products at the 2006 International CES, the world's largest IT & Home Appliance Exhibition, to be held in Las Vegas, U.S.A. from January 5 to 8.
DigiOn will demonstrate DiXiM DMA 3.0 Premium version, and are working with Intel to test and verify that DiXiM DMA 3.0 Premium version supports Intel® Viiv™ technology by second half of 2006.
“At our private exhibition in The Venetian Suites, we will also show home appliances, such as digital TVs and recorders, using DiXiM middleware." commented Hisatoshi Taura, CEO, DigiOn Inc. “Then, you will see superior interoperability between PCs based on the DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) Guidelines, and the DiXiM HAK (Hardware Adaptation Kit) for developing home network devices. Actually, more than 6 PC OEMs are now shipping DiXiM based products with their HW in Japan" he commented.
At the Interoperability Demonstration Area in the DLNA pavilion at the Sands Expo and Convention Center, adjacent to The Venetian Suites, DiXiM products will be shown, which were the first DLNA CERTIFIED™ devices, and be demonstrated their interoperability with home network devices from Kenwood, Sony, and Toshiba.
