Multimedia Home Network Solutions [DiXiM]

DigiOn provides home network applications based on the UPnP specifications and DLNA Guidelines for various platforms PC, digital AV home appliance, and mobile device platforms. The DiXiM series can also be licensed as customized applications for OEMs, middleware for embedded devices, and/or as a software development kit (SDK). By 2009, products incorporating the DiXiM series of software shipped over 15 million units world-wide.

DigiOn has developed unique technology enabling external access of home networks, offered as a remote access solution. As an example, DiXiM Remote Media Access leverages the DiXiM Gateway application and an online service operating in the cloud to allow you to access multimedia content stored on a device connected to your home network to be viewed externally. The ”DiXiM Remote Access Base Service” can be offered as a service platform for interoperability between devices connected to the Internet.

DigiOn provides a total solution that remotely controls devices on a Z-Wave network outside of the home. Z-Wave is a specification designed for wireless home automation.
